Lake Area Planning Council (LAPC), the Regional Transportation Planning Agency for Lake County, has joined with 3 other Northern California entities to launch a new energy efficiency initiative in Lake and 16 other rural Northern California Counties to reduce energy consumption and costs.
The Northern Rural Energy Network (NREN) has so far launched residential programs in Lake (see below link to flyer) and is in the design phase of energy efficiency programs specifically for the non-residential building sector in Lake County.
NREN has hired a consultant, Energy Resources Integration, LLC (ERI), to conduct a needs assessment to gather information about local needs and barriers to help shape the design of these programs.
