Jim Scholz grew up in San Francisco and move to the City of Clearlake in 1980 where he opened an upholstery shop. He and his wife ran the shop for 32 years. After Jim retired, his love of Clearlake, kept him involved when he became a CTA, Certified Tourist Ambassador and starting volunteer at the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center located in Clearlake.
Jim currently sets on the Redbud Health Care District and the Lake Area Formation Committee of Lake County as well of giving his time to the visitor center. He loves sharing his love of Lake County with those who call or stop by.
